At The Integral School, children learn more by doing, observing and reflecting than by didactic teaching.
Project work forms a major tool of learning. The purpose is not to prepare for exams, score high grades and fit into pre-planned careers; rather to become more conscious, realize the higher domains of the mind, develop perfection in the body, become master of oneself.
It is about integration of life and about evolutionary imperative in us, away from utilitarian and pragmatic strings, towards fulfilment and freedom.
Customized learning 8:1
student-teacher ratio
Focus on built pedagogy-home like environment
Non-conforming school-no standardization-no one size fits all
Developing life skills
No textbooks, no burden of examination, no rigid class structure
Examination is replaced with alternate means of assessing the integral personality of the child
We do not conduct conventional tests or exams at any stage. Therefore, there is no question of grading or categorizing the child. The child is not an object to be labelled and graded, but a living soul to be guided and this calls for sensitive assessment both by the child, the parents and those of us working with the child to give meaningful and responsible feedback.
The school takes admission from age 3.5 years to 6 years.
The Integral School follows rolling admission which means that parents have a large window of time during which they can apply for admission for their child/children. The admission window is open from May to January end i.e. the child can start coming to school within this time frame once admitted.
The school would like the child to spend a day at school to be able to see how s-he feels and whether s-he likes the environment at school and then take a conscious decision to join the school. This is done with consultation with the parents and the facilitator.
The Integral School is affiliated to Pearson Edexcel board (IGCSE) vide Centre Number 91161
The school also encourages NIOS (National Institution of open schooling) as an option for appearing in Xth Board examination

“Our daughter Viswada is 7 year old and has been in integral school for about 3 years. School environment resembles an extension of home. The activities at school are balanced with sports, academic learning, field trips and projects. Learning in the school is driven by facilitation rather than active teaching; this develops thinking skills in children. Viswada loves the food at school. Physical, mental and emotional development of the children are well taken care of at the school by their loving facilitators.”
“I would not say, my kids are studying in the School rather they are shaping their future there. We are happy with the way the school is providing a platform and ecosystem to develop the body, mind and soul of young kids with holistic education. Today, we see Darshad and Yeshna as happy, confident, self learning, curious, creative kids because of your efforts. We appreciate the teachers and the management of The Integral School in shaping up not only our kids and the future leaders of our beloved country.”
“We are so happy that we found this school for our child. The teachers are so friendly and they really care about their students. ”
“Integral school is like an extended family for us. This school care’s for holistic development of the child. Exploration and creativity are given importance rather than conventional teaching methods. School values a lot for physical fitness and overall health of the children.”

“Our son Orinjoy simply blossomed at Integral. His confidence, articulation, motor skills and discipline grew in leaps and bounds here. We are forever part of the Integral family…”
"This is one of the best schools to evolve and groom the children. Every query of the child is cleared from the roots and with lots of patiences. The school emphasises on holistic education with focus on identifying and solving problems from different subjects. Marks and ranks find no place in this school. We feel very comfortable and are glad that we chose this school."
Thanks to Management and staff.
"As a parent of two BOYS , we see them going to school with lots of excitement and tons of happiness EVERYDAY!!! Our boys never felt any pressure but enjoyed learning...An enormous energy, confidence and skills showcased by all the kids on sports day was truly amazing...Never seen such a performance where kids exhibited their talent quite naturally. All kudos goes to the facilitators and we are extremely happy to be part of the Integral family."
"My daughter has been going to this school for about six months now. She enjoys and looks forward to going to school everyday. As a parent, we are very happy with the way she is growing up and engaging in school. The school philosophy matches with the way our vision of how our child should grow.
The school works along with the child in developing them with various facets of their personality. The school also emphasises and works towards bringing awareness to parents as to what kind of environment is provided to them, which can help the child to develop in a better way.
My observations have been that every child in this school is absolutely free and fearless. They are able to express themselves without any apprehension or judgement. The facilitators are very sensitive towards treating each child as different and giving them their space to express and evolve."
When we were in pursuit of a learning space for our 3.5-year-old toddler, we had a rather long laundry of expectations. A shared sense of responsibility towards inter-being; A learning space that is a loving extension of the home; A space that lets children be; and so on, and so forth.
This disqualified most "schools" that wanted children to "do" rather than "be". When Abhay first visited "The Integral School'' with his mother, the place felt like another home, full of kids of varying ages, adults and caretakers.
A spacious and well-lit home, beautifully decorated by children and adults alike, with minimal furniture, an inviting sand pit + play area for children, a small library with a diverse set of books, and a tempting kitchen. There was a sense of freedom with an inherent sense of rhythm and discipline. Meal times and play times spent together, every child interacting with everyone else, calling the school headmaster by his first name. When our child spent his first day here, our affirming instincts were proven right by Abhay's ebullience- a space where we experienced Abhay to be more alive, which was the only criterion that we saw fit to decide for our child.
Choosing this space for our child and thereby becoming a part of The Integral Family has been one of the best decisions of our lives.
The team at Integral is deeply committed to the vision of unfolding human potential, and they motivate us, parents, to raise up the ante to do our best to create a conscious society that raises up to the wicked challenges posed by the world. The facilitators here truly love children, and each member of the family (be it an adult or a child) takes care of the other.
The admission process was refreshingly un-bureaucratic. Parents were made very clear of the need for a totally focused involvement in all aspects of their child's upbringing. The best part of this process was an open invitation to the child and the parent to visit and stay at school for the whole day, to experience the ways of the school's being.
The school was happy to host us on their premises till the child was comfortable and emotionally ready to stay away from his mother.
Can a learning space help children develop into conscious adults fully aware of their agency? Owning to this question is a humongous responsibility and we are glad to be in the company of seekers who are also working within themselves to rise up to the challenge posed by this question. Given our technological treadmill lives, we feel this is the best gift we can offer to our child. Being part of this family has been a truly nourishing and self-reflective journey so far!
